TRD SPORTS METER LINK SYSTEM
■By linking the control unit with the tachometer, the boost gauge, oil temperature gauge, and water temperature gauge, this advanced electronic metering system not only provides the traditional metering functionality, but is equipped with a host of additional features as well.
■Adoption of a specially designed stepping motor that maintains high accuracy across an extended range (2300 increments over a maximum sweep of 270｡) produces a slim-line meter that exhibits an extremely stable response.
■A memory repeat feature that realistically reproduces vehicle operating states that have been committed to memory. A memory time of 40 seconds gives you more than ample time to check operating states under a variety of driving conditions.
■As the engine starts, the lamps light up, the LEDs glow, and the needles dance, providing a thrilling initiation to your sports driving experience.
■On-board self-diagnostic functions detect broken lines, short circuits, and transmission errors, allowing for quick repairs in the unlikely event of a malfunction.
■The tachometer exhibits a white face to contrast with the black faces of the other gauges, and all meters and gauges sport the TRD log, giving the look of a truly sporty cockpit. What's more, the spherical lenses fit perfectly into the bezels for a stylish, refined appearance.
■The tachometer has a diameter of 80 mm (compared to 60 mm for the other gauges) for greater visibility.
■For the lighting, even-glowing LEDs that shed eye-pleasing, green-spectrum illumination are employed.
■The first meter connects and provides power, making it easy to add meters. Simply connect the sensor line to the control unit, and run the line to the meter that you added.
■The control unit and meters are equipped with microprocessors, allowing all meter operations to be controlled from a single control unit. This allows convenient operation of even remotely located meters.
